Lucely D. Rodriguez, LICSW

My name is Lucely Rodriguez, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I am a bilingual Latina who is warm and empathetic. I approach therapy from a strength based, empowerment focused perspective, and enjoys using mindfulness and grounding techniques. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is important and I strive to forge that bond through warmth and supportive counseling. I believe that we are all individuals with unique strengths and will work with you to overcome the challenges that you may face on your journey toward achieving your goals.

I am trained in a number of evidence-based treatments including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and traditional talk therapy. I have worked with individuals across developmental lifespans, who sought to learn different methods to handle challenges presented in their lives in a safe and empathic environment.

I hold my Master's of Social Work degree from Boston College with a focus in Health/Mental health and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Families Studies from The University of Rhode Island. My specialties include depression, anxiety, stress, grief, among many others.  I primarily focus on working with teenagers, and prenatal/postnatal mothers.

During my down time, I enjoy being active and trying new places to eat. I spend my days with my husband, two young children and my yorkie mix Yoda.

I look forward to seeing you grow!

My motto: to get lost is to learn a new way.
